What is the S500 bioclimatic pergola?
WIN CLIMATIC S500 is an aluminium pergola with a rotating louvre roof. The louvres, spaced at 250 mm, tilt from 0 to 135°, so you can choose between shade, a breeze and a closed roof when it rains. The frame has a 240 × 130 mm cross-section, the posts are 130 × 130 mm with steel reinforcement and concealed screw joints. The wiring and motor are concealed as well.
How much snow can the S500 pergola carry?
Up to 318 kg/m², depending on the size and model of the structure – the larger the span, the lower the value. Wind resistance is 80 km/h for terrain categories II, III and IV. In addition, the snow sensor opens the louvres automatically so the roof is not loaded.
What sensors and controls does the S500 have?
The rain sensor closes the louvres when it rains, the wind sensor opens them in strong wind, the snow sensor prevents the roof from being loaded and the temperature sensor tilts the louvres when the temperature drops below 3 °C so the seals do not freeze. You control the pergola with a remote control, or via phone and tablet at extra cost. All the automation is programmed at the factory.
What extras are available for the S500 pergola?
LED lighting in the louvres and in the gutter, spotlights and vertical lamps with a light colour of 3 000 K or 4 000 K, heaters, Bluetooth audio, sockets and USB built into the posts. The sides can be closed with WIN GLASS sliding tempered glass, WIN SCREEN zip screens up to 7 000 mm wide or WIN PANELS aluminium panels.
What is the largest pergola you can build?
We build free-standing aluminium pergolas with a polycarbonate roof up to a span of 9 × 5 m, and pergolas attached to the house up to 12 × 5 m. The S500 bioclimatic pergola covers up to 40 m² in a single module at a width of 5 000 mm and a projection of 8 000 mm, and up to 76.73 m² in two modules with a central post at a width of 9 900 mm. Any number of modules can be joined.
What is the roof of an aluminium pergola made of?
Polycarbonate – 16 mm multiwall or 8 mm solid, in white, clear or bronze. Rainwater drainage and the gutter are integrated into the structure; the joints are covered and sealed with F profiles.
Which colours can I choose?
The standard is a fine-textured powder coating in anthracite RAL 7016. We also regularly supply graphite, anthracite, grey and brown. On request, we coat in any colour from the RAL chart.
What needs to be prepared before installation?
Concrete footings measuring 30 × 30 cm and 50 to 70 cm deep – for both free-standing pergolas and pergolas attached to the house. A pergola attached to the house is also anchored into the building's outer wall. The free-standing version has two extra posts and a structural reinforcing profile. We will go through exactly what is needed with you during the measurement visit.
What types of pergolas do you make?
Aluminium, wooden and bioclimatic. Aluminium pergolas have 136 × 136 mm or 140 × 110 mm posts depending on the type of structure and a polycarbonate roof; the wooden one is made of glued laminated BSH spruce beams with Remmers wood stain; and the bioclimatic one has a motorised rotating louvre roof.
Can side shading be added to a pergola?
Yes. We design the pergola and the rotating louvres together, so the structure is ready for shading from the start. The louvres tilt from 0 to 140°, so you decide how much light and view you keep. The pergola roof deals with the midday sun, the side louvres with the morning and evening sun, when it is low and shines in under the roof.
Do you make pergolas to measure?
Yes, every structure is built to the dimensions of the specific location – from simple canopies to oversized solutions. You also choose the anchoring: the pergola can be attached to the outer wall of the house or free-standing. We take the measurements on site at your home.
What maintenance does a pergola need?
An aluminium structure is never painted – aluminium does not corrode and the powder coating keeps its colour; just rinse it with water when needed. The polycarbonate roof and the gutter are cleaned the same way. On a wooden pergola, you renew the stain once every 3 to 5 years, depending on the weather.

Throughout Slovakia and the Czech Republic. We handle the measurement, manufacture and installation ourselves – our own people build the pergola.
