Pergola with louvres: shading planned at the design stage
We supply the pergola with integrated rotating louvres, screen blinds or sliding glazing – directly as part of the project and installation. The pergola then gives you smooth light control, privacy and clean details without any later alterations. Or we pre-install the pergola (anchors, wiring) and you add the louvres later. This applies to both BSH wooden and aluminium pergolas.

Horizontal, vertical or pre-installation.
01Horizontal louvres
- Wood: classic louvres (max. length 1.5 m), interlocking louvres (max. 1.0 m).
- Aluminium: classic louvres (max. 2.0 m), interlocking louvres (max. 3.0 m).
02Vertical louvres
- Louvre material: aluminium.
- Interlocking aluminium louvres form a flat surface when closed, max. length 3.0 m. Classic aluminium louvres max. 2.0 m.
03Preparing a pergola for louvres
- We prepare the pergola for future louvre installation so that no additional frames have to be fitted later – at the later installation we only add the rotation systems and louvres.
Pergola sides
Screen blinds and sliding glazing.
Besides louvres, we can also close the sides of the pergola with ZIP screen blinds, which provide shade and do not flutter in the wind, or with sliding tempered glass. We design them together with the pergola so that they are part of the structure.

Pre-installation
What we do during pre-installation.
Side triangles (infills)
We design and make side triangles to compensate for the roof pitch, so that the future louvre bays are level and free of unwanted gaps.
Additional posts
Depending on the layout, we add posts to create clean clear widths for the louvres; this way no additional frames are needed at the later installation.
Wiring (optional)
We prepare concealed cabling and power supply for optional motorised control.
Sliding (optional)
If you are planning movable louvres (sliding panels), we pre-install the fixings for a top or bottom guide.
When you decide to add the louvres, we simply fit the rotation systems and louvres. Installation is quick, without touching the finished frames and surfaces and without visually distracting extra frames.
